Both of the systems have equal graphics, although many games on both systems are better on 360 because they are rendered at 60 fps on the 360 and only 30 fps on the PS3, so it is more smooth on the 360. Both output 1080p over HDMI, and the 360 also outputs 1080p over component and VGA if your TV accepts those inputs (some only take 1080p over HDMI). Now, all 360s have HDMI output and they all output 1080p, even older systems that have been updated over the internet.

This is a hard question to answer, since that really depends on the game, but if you're talking about which system is more smooth, then the 360 renders games at 60 fps that the PS3 only renders at 30 fps, so gameplay will be more smooth on the 360 in those games. Some games are 60 fps on the PS3, but all are on the 360.

which one doesnt burn out to easily?

I've never heard of the PS3 having problems where they break down, but the 360 has been fixed so you will not get the "Red Ring of Death" unless you purposely abuse you system. Even so, they have a 3-year warranty so in the unlikely even that you do have a problem, they will fix or replace your Xbox for free.

what console has more style?

That's a matter of personal opinion, I'm sure you've seen both so you have to decide for yourself. I think the Xbox is better looking because it looks slender with it's concave sides and the white plastic is more attractive than the shiny black plastic of the PS3, which will easily show every fingerprint and every speck of dust that lands on it. But it's really a personal preference so you have to decide for yourself.

More people own the 360 because it has more games, better games, and a better online system than the Playstation 3. It also has a higher attach rate, meaning that 360 owners own more games per system than PS3 and Wii owners combined.

is the ps3 really worth the awful amount of money?

In my opinion, no, there aren't enough games for it and most of the best games for it are available on the 360 as well. If you decide to use it as a Blu-ray player then it might be worth it, since the cheapest standalone player is $400 and the PS3 starts at $400, but you can get a standalone HD DVD player for $300 if you only want to watch Hi-def movies.

Hope this answered your questions, and just so you know I am a happy 360 owner since day 1, and a Wii owner since Day 1 as well, but I might try to get a PS3 soon. I would suggest getting the 360 if that's going to be your only system, since I've been more than happy with it and I don't see how the PS3 will be able to compete if it doesn't have any good exclusives.

PS3- full 1080 pixels unless u get the elite 360 that also has 1080 pixels

PS3- free online play and great games like WarHawk, COD4, UT3 and much much more

PS3- i had it for a year and play it every day for a few hours and it never burns out even if i have the door to the shelf closed

YES it is i paid 600 dollars for the 60GB and im happy i did i was about to get a wii but i said no PS3 is cooler and i was looking into the 360 but i found about the red ring of death which happens when it gets to hot and crashes ur 360, PS3 is worth it u should get that instead of the 360

i only have an Xbox 360, and it has pretty darn good graphics. : ) I like it. A really good game is Test Drive Unlimited. (and I am a girl!) I would highly reccomend it! But anyway... the console is very stylish. Just a tip...do NOT tip over the xbox. try keeping it flat on the floor. And also, when you are done playing with it, TAKE OUT THE DISK!!!! I don't know how to explain why to do these things, just do it. : )

- hard to say cause right now 360 has better contrast while the games look really sharp on ps3. actually ps3 has better graphics capabilities but since most games on ps3 are ports of 360 games, they dont look tht great. but developers have started making ps3 games n then they r porting it to 360. burnout paradise is an example n the demo looks much better on ps3. so u have to wait untill all developers start doing tht n i can c tht coming in 08.

- well multi-platform games have the same gameplay on either consoles. as far as the controls go, both have good controllers. but if u have small hands then ps3 feels better or if u have huge hands then 360 controller feels better but if ur hands r medium sized then it doesnt really matter. i personally have big hands n both controllers just feel fine to me.

lol ps3 of course. 360 has 33% failure rate while ps3 has abt 0.2% failure rate. n i have never heard of a ps3 burning out but have heard millions of tragic 360 red lights experiences.

ps3 looks more stylistic to me while 360 just doesnt go well with my tv since my hd tv has gloss finish n 360 has matt finish. but ps3 looks amazing with my tv since it has nice gloss finish. however, ps3 is a finger-print magnet and u can easily see any dust on it. indeed ps3 has more style but u need to keep it clean.

360 does currently but i can c the popularity of ps3 growing cause after the price drop, many ppl r choosing ps3 n some 360 owners r even swtiching to ps3. so i think ps3 sales would surpass 360 at the end of 08.

yes it is cause u get blu-ray player n built in wifi with ps3. u need to spend another $300 to get these features on 360. but ps3 is not expensive. its only $50 more than 360 in u.s. and if u live in canada like me then ps3 is the same price as 360. oh if u r looking at the premium 360 model then 40 gb ps3 is a better buy since u r getting 20 gb more with the ps3.

both consoles r really gud n its gud to own both. if u bro already owns the 360 then i suggest going with the ps3 since u can enjoy halo 3 n gears of war on ur bro's 360 n he can enjoy FF XIII, Metal gear solid 4 or god of war 3 on ur ps3. btw, these three ps3 games tht i mentioned r all coming in 08.
