Help with a MP3 player, Please.?
I had got my daughter a MP3 player (Pearl) for christmasand we had just got the songs downloaded into it that she wanted, now it gets to the 4th or 5th song on it and freezes up. It won't even shut off, I had to take the battery out of it just so it would shut off. I have also changed batteries in it twice to make sure it wasn't the battery. Is there any suggestions that I can do before I Take it back to the store?

The songs that the player is having trouble with may be corrupt.. Try deleting them and reloading them. Make sure they play on the computer. If they don't, you will have to download them again. The songs may also be in an incompatible format, or are protected. Check to make sure the player will play that type of file, and that the licenses are correct id the music was purchased. The last thing is the the song may be recorded with an incompatible sampling rate or bitrate. You will need to check the sing while it is playing on the computer and see if it falls in the range of the player's capabilities. Mist computer based music player software can change the sampling and bitrates. Check the instructions on how to do it.
