I'm an independent American voter. I don't need a "party" to tell me what I think.

I'm a Republican, I originally come from the south and my family was very much pro-Democrat. They could never support the party of Lincoln.

I found that in my 24 years in the US Army, the Democrats did everything they could to give the Soviet Union the victory during the Cold War. I can never support such traitors. I'll support the Republicans no matter what.

I am a left leaning independent. I voted Republican for over 25 years. Bush and 9-11 made me take a closer look at my government and I came to the realization that the right has been using propaganda since the Reagan campaign to get middle Americans to vote for a party that does have their best interests in mind.

Alex, 'conservative' is not a political party.

I am libertarian but strategically democratic. Barak Obama gets my vote.

Largely because of a lessening of government control over our lives: relaxed drug laws and less laws (.) I am also very liberal and believe in live/let live. I also believe people need help and this is where I sway a bit from my base. Being born into poverty, I had no choice but needed to survive. The alternative is starvation. Who wants that to happen? Conservatives seem to think food will fall out of the sky.

I am independent and have voted for 4 different parties in Prez elections in my life. basically part of the Libertarian-Left.

I have only voted Rep once and won't again until they begin to respect Civil liberties and the 4th Amendment.. I believe, first and foremost, in the right to be left alone.

Also deregulation has led to massive corporate abuse and corporate control of government and the media which the Republican ignore.

That leaves me voting mostly for Dems now. (Not that I'm real happy about it.)

I am a far right wing conservative because I am evil and I hate humanity.I will do anything to progress only the part of the population I belong to and let the others suffer.I will lie, cheat and send innocent lives to war for no reason and say that God told me to do it. I also don't believe in change which I know is beneficial to a society.

Was a Democrat till Carter was a republican until bush am now an independent

I shifted over to Republican in 1994.

Hillary convinced me that the Democrats aren't in favor of economic growth with her Hillarycare scheme. Didn't seem too honest, either. Bill didn't help with his skirt chasing.

I am a right leaning libertarian. They're the only ones who seem to really want a smaller government, even if it scares the pants off people who are resistant to change.

conservative- because I don't want the government to steal my money, I like to be protected, and I like to have freedom of speech and not have "political correctness take it away from me"

hey bone head, I am who I am. I don't want a R or D next to my name
