How can I get my Mac G5 to share a printer with my new Vista laptop?

    I don't know a thing about Vista but with the Mac go to System Preferences > Sharing > Services tab, turn on Printer Sharing, that is if the printer is connected to the Mac. If the printer is connected to the Vista machine you don't need to enable printer sharing on the Mac, you will need to on the Vista machine though.

    Open System Preferences (from the dock or the apple menu) and click the "Sharing" pane (it's on the 3rd row, in the "Internet & Network" category. In the "Services" category, select "Printer Sharing" and either click the checkbox or the Start button.

    And off you go...
