Do 1 yr. olds need a photo ID when flying?

it's not an international flight. good to know about the birth certificate!

    Children travelling with their parents within the U.s. are not required to have I.d. If you are taking him as a lap cild, noat paying for a seat for him, airlines ometimes want to see the birth certificate to be sure the child is nder 2 yrs. of age.

    We've flown with our kids several times within the U.S. They've never asked for i.d. for the kids. I don't know about international flights.
