Why are Newcastle so ridiculously crap at football, I remember when Blackburn bought Shearer from Southampton?

for £3 million, they nearly won the Premier league in the 1993/1994 season and then actually went on to win the Premier league the very next season. So the morons at Newcastle thought, hang on a minute, if we buy Shearer for £5 Million we will win the league as well. So off Shearer trotted to Newcastle and didn't win a sausage. And a couple of years ago they thought, lets buy Michael Owen, the most over rated player of the past 10 years. Then they thought, lets buy the nutcase Joey Barton who had stubbed out a lit cigar in a mans face and whose half brother stuck a pick axe into the back of this lads head. Even if Shearer managed to get qualified as a manager. Who would want to manage that shower of sh*t?

The thing with Newcastle is the expectation level at the club is way higher than it should be, the fans think they are a top 6 club when they are clearly a middle of the table club.

What have they achieved in the modern era of the game nothing !! so why such expectation of Champions league etc they are only causing themselves frustration !!! :)

Newcastle are crap at football for one main reason in my opinion.

Interferance from the board. In past years the board has bought players the manager didnt want, and also did not have the balls to leave a manager in place long enough to do the job. If the Newcastle board had been running Man Utd when Alex Fergson took over, he would have been sacked then.

Now Newcastle have a new board and a new manager, they have Michael 'Sick note' Owen and Joey 'Behind Bars' Barton, but the transfer window is open now and the manager and board should be able to prove themselves by buying some replacements and building a team.

What Newcastle need is a period of Board room and managment stability to build up a proper team make a challenge. Lets just hope its given.

    Pants aint they.

Such a shame too, as I like Newcastle as my Team of Northerners.

They need to get rid of fat Sam, who is now unable to do back handed deals since his son was exposed as a fraudster... oh well. Should have stayed at Bolton where they let him do bungs and back handers all day long.

I don't think Shearer would be stupid enough to take the managers job at the moment. You need a couple of seasons of stability first

    Wrong section.

You could at least ask a civil question.

Yes they are playing rubbish at the moment, they are still premier league. You don't have to call people morons.. They cannot predict the future, or other peoples actions. They are human after all. I think this rant was to get someones back up and nothing to with football at all.

    Who is your team?
