Why are people on here calling Tennessee a "bad" team? TERRENCE W?
I have seen a couple of comments on here that states Tennessee as having a "bad" team. Tennessee was 10-4 this year and played in the best conference (SEC) in the country. The stomped Georgia and Arkansas. They beat Kentucky and almost had LSU beat until Tennessee handed them the game. Tennessee looked awful vs Florida and Alabama but other than that had a very good year. I have never, in all my years of watching football, heard anyone call a 10-win team, BAD!!! Where you at TERRENCE W?
Who did they beat?????? Have you been under a rug all year TERRENCE W???????? They beat Southern Miss (bowl team), Georgia (bowl team), Miss State (bowl team), Arkansas (bowl team), Kentucky (bowl team), Wisconsin (bowl team). So lets see 6 out of 10 wins were against teams that were playing in bowls at the end of the year and finished first in the toughest division in college football.....SEC East. Anything else? Also wins over South Carolina and Vanderbilt who are not push overs for anyone.

Yea, Terrence W has got issues. I was proud of my Vols this year. Even though I threw up after the Alabama game. Couldn't believe we let that happened. Its a tough conference and thats the way it goes. You won't catch me sayin the "almost" stuff though. We got beat and I am still a proud Volunteer. Most people here do not realize what it is like to follow and pull for any one SEC team. When you know your playin the best teams in the country while USC and OSU get the powder puff trail and a NC birth at the end. Thanks for question. They are a over rated team and LSu beating them should not have been a big enough win to boost them back into the national championship game after losing to a poor unranked arkansas squad, is what I meant by a bad team. They lost to an average Florida squad, and an ok Alabama squad, Arkansas wasn't good and everybody knows Georgia was beat up when they played.
They are an average team, what big wins did they really have besides the Georgia win?

I would certainly not call them a bad team, but they were pretty inconsistent this year and that was their downfall I think. The same could be said for Ainge (inconsistency, that is) and as goes the QB, so goes the team usually.

Because Tennessee fans really don't like themselves. I was at the Tennessee/Georgia game and many Tennessee fans were upset that they couldn't fire Fulmer after he beat Georgia. He only has the best winning percentage amoung active coaches. When will you be happy?
