Old Song, Possibly Ricky Nelson?
Today for some reason I was thinking of this old song my Dad used to have on a 45. I really liked it when I was a kid but had forgotten it until just now. I have very little information on it so please bear with me!
I think it may have been a Ricky Nelson song (but I'm not sure). It was about a puppet maker whose fondest wish was that his puppets would come to life before his eyes. At the end of the song he gets his wish right before he dies.
Does this sound familiar to anyone??

Can't place this one. The only one that comes to mind regarding puppets is "Whisky on a Sunday"
However I do have some Ricky Nelson tapes and will check them out tomorrow.
