Dont think he can close the gap by much.

As a Liverpool Fc fan I have not been happy with Rafa's coaching during EPL games. He has been pretty good in the cups. I am not sure they can get to the top this year. I think at the most maybe third place. I think in the end it will still be Arsenal vs Man U. Chelsea might also give a push.

He can't close the gap, Liverpool are far too inconsistent compared to the top 3.
If they get thought their champions league tie, they will probably get into the final.
Won't have a chance in the F.A Cup because they can't get though the top 3.
Liverpool have a chance of winning a cup, but Rafa has totally messed up the league.

Serious answer is HE HAS MESSED UP HIS HOPE OF WINNING THE PREMIER LEGUE
there is no way that liverpool can catch arsenal or Man u anymore however they could still take chelsea on for the 3rd spot... they do have a chance in the Champo but it is VERY VERY unlikely because of their form this season and as for the FA cup they still have a chance but it all depends on what RAFA the Gaffa does

i have gone to the point believing that rafa hasnt got a rotational policy anymore. instead he has gone for the "changing winning sides" policy:
this is where he picks a liverpool team that wins a football match, and changes them to a team that loses a football match.
another thing, i don't think frank lampard missed any games during the seasons where chelsea won back to back titles. and he is perceived as fat-frank lamard and frank lumpo-lard. where as gerrard gets rested after three games of a season. someone needs to tell that pillock that there is another 35 to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he has really stuffd things up for this
p.s.- Great stuff from ARSENAL, thought they would run out of GAS by now but they are stickin with it, they always look vulnerable but not this season, they are the best attacking force in the premiership at the moment and their defence is not bad either

Lets put it this way, its unlikely that you will be winning the premiership, but has Rafa totally messed up? no he is a very good manager indeed, and I hope he is not hounded out of a job, which seems to be the way nowadays. good luck for the rest of the season (although not so much that you finish above Arsenal), but I would love to see you above Man U

Rafa...that man is a Godsend, all Manchester United fans love him. Premiership clubs need a manager that is proficient in English and this deficiency in Benitez's character is criminally overlooked. How do you think Steven Gerrard feels getting lectured by that half-wit? Look at Mourinho's grasp of English. Obviously all foreign managers in England are eager to learn the language so their ability to speak it is an accurate reflection of how intelligent they are. Compare Wenger and Mourinho with Rafa and Avram. I doubt his ability to manage in the Premier League but when he can't even articulate himself in eloquent terms...you're lost. With this in mind, keep a close eye on Capello.

Liverpool have done as they usually do. Mess up the league early on in the season. Buy good players but for some reason they cant play in the league.
By the way a question for you.
What is the only ship never to go to liverpool????
The Premier ship of course.
Come on United

He is depending on at least two teams folding, which they won't. Liverpool don't create enough, are more one-dimensional than their rivals, and would struggle to win 4th spot without the excellent Torres.
Gerrard is brilliant but far too much seems to have to come through or from him, restricting Liverpool's pattern of play.

unfortunately Liverpool does not stand a chance at winning the Premier League this year........
the only way we can close the gap is by relying on other teams dropping points and that doesn't look like it's going to happen this year....
