    hello,

For your sons party ( games):

    a spiderman board game (easy)

throw the ball at the wall or basket

    tug of war

Buy candy or toys and put them in a bag ( hang to ceiling and cover it)

At my daughters party we played "toy walk". Like cake walk except with toys. Have the kids walk around on a circle and have numbers taped to the ground, turn music on and when its off kids have to stop, pull out a number from a hat or such and whoever is on that number wins. Also hot potato or ball is a fun game to play.

How lucky are you, your son is six and this is the first party. What about a treasure hunt (you can hide lollies or small prizes), a pinyata or pass the parcel!!

Hope I've helped have a great day!!

Try calling and renting a jumper for the kids...they would love that. Or maybe get a pinata? I know that kids of all ages enjoy those!!! You could also play musical chairs...the last one with a chair wins!

At my son's cub scout meeting once we played a balloon game where you blow up the balloon (not to big) and tie string to the balloon then to the child's ankle and they have to run around (best outside) and try to pop everyone's balloon. The child left with his or her balloon is the winner.

Musical chairs, duck duck goose, just think of games you enjoyed when you were a kid
