There are a number of airlines which fly to/from Alicante. Cheapest price I found was US $ 1452 round trip. Suggest you try a travel agent or a tour operator in Alicante for cheaper fares.

Before moving away from Yorkshire, I used to live in the New Village estate at Churwell. It was built around 3-4 years ago, so all houses and flats are modern, and the train station (Cottingley) is within walking distance from all the homes. It's on the Leeds-Huddersfield line, and just 6 minutes ride into Leeds (I cannot remember how long the train takes to get to Huddersfield - about 25 minutes I think). I used the train regularly for work and social commute. Close enough also to the M621 for getting to the M62 or M1. There's the town of Morley about 5 minutes drive away and the White Rose Centre a 10 minute walk away. It was a perfect location for me.

Leeds Bradford....its about 35 mins drive from the City Centre depending on traffic conditions...could take nearly an hour during the morning rush hour....no direct train from airport so would have to be a bus or taxi....Jet2 seems to be about the cheapest....
