    its community property, all that was purchased after the marriage. ALL property owned prior to the marriage belongs to the rightful owner 100%.

    IANAL California is a _community_ property state. The court can divide up ONLY the assests you and your spouse aquired while married. Go to the library and check out the divorice laws.

    Half is what I understood. But with how eveything is today I would still seek some professional help.

    You only get half if you're the one making the least money they might give him everything...u need an attorney...
