I got a bill from Ameren Cilco and it was outrageous?

My bill for electric was $235 and my gas bill was $625. I pay my bills on time and this is just outrageous. What can i do about this?

    Pay the bill and stop using so much electricity and gas. Get solar panels, witch to an on demand water heating system the will flash heat the water that is needed. conventional water heaters use up more energy.

    Call to make sure there were no errors!! Those are EXTREME!! If you cant pay it all at once, see if they have a payment plan you can set up if it is indeed correct. Try to conserve a bit if they are right.
