    Hi,

    3.2002 x 10^2

    3 x 10^2

    4.00003 x 10^5

    2 x 10^-3

    I hope that helps!! :-)

    just count how many places the decimal has to go before it becomes the highest number possible. like .0002 would be 2 x 10^-4...and so on. if the number is less than 1, there will be a negative exponent, and if it's greater then it will be positive. this site isn't for having other people do your homework for you...

    320.02 = 3.2002 x 100 = 3.2002 x 10^2

    300.0 = 3.000 x 100 = 3.000 x 10^2

    (you keep the zeroes to show the level of accuracy; otherwise you could simply write 3 x 10^2)

    0.002000 = 2.000 x (1/1000) = 2.000 x (1/10^3) =

    2.000 x 10^-3 (10 to the power -3)

    (or 2 x 10^-3 if you don't need to show the level of accuracy)
