First of all, I hope you are at least 18. If you are not, then sex is a bad idea. Also, unprotected sex is never advised under any cirsumstances, other than when you are attempting to get pregnant.

As far as it hurting, the first time can be a little painful, but you both take it easy, it doesn't have to be.

Usually the part that will hurt the first time is the insertion of the penis into the vagina. The vagina is not used to taking in something that big.

If the male, as I said, takes it easy and you use lubrication it doesn't have to hurt.

If your nervous then your not ready to have sex. It's one of those things you need to be absolutely sure about because once you lose your virginity thats it, you don't get it back and you don't get to have a do over with a better person. It hurts more if your experiencing stress or outside distraction since your body isn't arroused and producing lubricant on its own. It's best to lose your virginity to someone you care alot about and have been dating forlonger than 3 months (by then the relationship is pretty cemented). Be sur eyour somewhere where your comfortable and relaxed. It might sting for a second but when I lost my virginity it didn't hurt. SOmetimes everyday thign sliek using tampons or exercising can cause the hymen to stretch reducing the likelihood of experiencing pain. Just be sure its what you want and that the person your having sex with is someone you love and use protection! A good rule of thumb is nevr have sex with someone you couldn't see yourself with forever. oh yeah, I'm not an old wait until marriage fogey (why buy a car withotu test driving it first!). I lost my virginity when I was 15 and dated the guy for 3 years after that! Still love eachother to pieces to this day.

Varies from person to person, if you are a virgin, it might hurt when it first goes in,because you've never been stretched down there. but for me, didnt hurt at all.
