Cleaning a HD TV screen?

I had a small scented candle in front of my HD TV and when I went to blow it out, some droplets of wax stuck to the screen. The wax has fully hardened onto it. What's the best way to clear the wax from the screen without damaging it?

    Let's Azz-ume it's a Plastic LCD screen...the most sensitive panel to destroy.....

Patience and Carefulness is in order...

First, let it harden...soft wax will smear. If necessary get some DRY AIR and turn it into COLD Freeze spray. How do you do that? Turn the can UPSIDE DOWN and it sprays a cold liquid out....

Unplug your power cord on the TV set, turn the can upside down and spray it for 30 seconds unless it's a big glob then spray it for 45 seconds to one minute....

Now, you need to have a toothpick OR a thin blade, like an Xacto knife or small screwdriver....

You are going to POP that piece of COLD wax straight UP off the panel....you are NOT going to push it left or right, nor PUSH that stick into the plastic in any way shape or form, got it?

Good, now take your time, and find a piece of wax that you can take your toothpick or xacto blade and get UNDER it so you have some MEAT to lift with....and you just start gently, and increase the lift power carefully...you don't want that lip of wax to break off.....then you have nothing to grab hold of.....

Worse case, if you have already attempted to wipe it off and you have no lip or edge because you flattened the blob.....you may have to resort to a hair dryer to liqufy the wax, and get it off with GENTLE absorbing with a paper towel....

Once again, patience is a virtue.....

And for God's sake DON'T decorate your TV set like a Christmas tree anymore.....

do no longer use windex, no rely if on a paper towel, or besides. Endust makes a product in specific for electronics. you ought to purchase it at any food market, Walmart, aim, etc. this is approximately $3 for a can of it. Spray a splash on a mushy textile and wipe down. do no longer press on the show, purely wipe gently. by no skill spray directly on electronics the two. i'm advantageous you know that.

Do NOT USE any alcohol or amonia based cleaners. This will ruin ur Tv. Just use a warm cloth slight damped with water no cleaner. Or just use this.
