    if you mean inshore fishing, then look for deep holes adjacent to shallow bays. an excellent one for large reds is the army hole at port lavaca. port aransas has several and port mansfield is good.

    Your question is kinda vague, but in the winter the absolute best fishing experience is around 100 miles offshore out to the floating oil rigs for Tuna.

    Where are you going fishing? Im from the Port Aransas/Rockport area and there are several others from coast that can tell you where some of the fish are biting.
