With Swisher in town, he can play first, and plus they have a bunch of outfield prospects that they can put in the outfield.

Santana is still young, and kendrick is going to be good for a very long time.

Plus, Konerko is going to be hitting his down slide soon. I would rather trade a guy a year to early than a year to late.

So I guess I say trade him and get a corner stone play in kendrick and a arm in santana

like working under the radar. Reagin's Signed Torii Hunter with no rumors leaking out so it was a shock when it happened. The White Sox Trade for Nick Swisher had no rumors and the fact that it's already on MLB.com leads me to believe it won't happen. The trade will also be hard to work out because Kenny Williams wants MLB talent in return for anything, which is why the Angels and White Sox got together earlier in the offseason and Swapped SP Garland for SS Cabrera(that trade also had no rumors what so ever).The White Sox also would be interested in Chone Figgins because figgins is speedy and could lead off for the white sox If the trade does happen it would be Figgins and Santana for Konerko. Also a Chicago Radio Station hinted that a trade was almost completed that would send Paul konerko and Joe Crede to LA for Figgins,Ervan Santana,Scot Shields,and Top prospect Walden would go to Chicago. There are to many rumors slipping out and neither GM likes the media rumoring about so it most likely won't happen.BUT YOU NEVER KNOW...

Kenny Williams is denying any trade talks between him and the GM of the Los Angeles Angels on talks about trading Paul Konerko. Whether or not that will happen, I have no idea. I wouldn't know who I would get in return, and maybe even minor leaguers, cause that is known to happen, when a big name player is traded, for minor leagues, which might as well look at getting nothing in return.

I would be going for that in a heart beat if I'm the Chi Sox... Those two guys have a lot more upside than Konerko... Konerko is at the end of his prime... moving him for some promising prospects would be a GREAT move.
