For those religions that believe works get you into heaven. (being a good person), How do you know you have done enough works to appease God so He will let you into heaven? Not hope, but to KNOW 100% sure?

How do you even know if God is real in the first place? I mean KNOW 100% sure?
I would prefer people to practice a religion that tells them to do good deeds instead of a religion that says "Say the name of this one guy and you get a "Get out Jail Free card".
