Army Reenlistment? 15Q?

Is there anyway an active duty 88M Sgt can reenlist into 15Q. Under TARP one of the requirements is that you have to be an E-4 nonpromotable in order to go in this MOS. But I know there has to be something out there. I am trying to reenlist for five years and already have over three years active.

Well, I believe that there is a waiver that you can get and if they approve that then you can go in with the rank you have. If not, then you can still go into that job as the E-4. Its a good trade off if you think about it...you can learn a new job and get a bonus and the only sacrifice you have to make is going down one pay grade. Sounds like a good idea either way.

The only why I no off is by punching your CO or XO take a Artical 15 and get demoted. This will also bar you from re-uping for about 3 months.
