Do you always give your car, truck or motorcyle a name ?

Old family tradition.

So old, that some of the vehicles came with names already.

Like Betsy, the '71 International 1210.

The '84 Ford was "Ol' Blue Dog".

Then there was "The Grey Ghost", only everyone else called it the Silver Bullet ('71 Charger)

Those are/were only a few of mine.

Most also answered to "You b***h" also.

The list goes back to when I was a kid being driven around in a Wagoneer called "Suzie" (1967)

Dad was naming his in the 40s.

The cycle in the avatar is referred to as "The Superslide", until I have a good handle on it's personality.

I named my Honda CRV "The CRV". The Ford Focus was called "The Ford". The Pontiac 2000 was called "The Pontaic Ooo" cause the 2 fell off. We call my grandmother Gladys, but she's not a car.

my kids made up cute names for my cars, like the green explorer they called the green car, and my blue mystique was the blue car. Kids have such crazy imaginations at times.

i will get a 1963 Opel Kadet and name it Oliver!
