Diablo Cody just won the Critics' Choice Award for best writer (Juno). Isn't that a bummer she's on strike?
I'm watching the Critics' Choice Awards tonight and I feel sad for the writers winning awards and not being able to go on stage and thank their family and/or God...because they're on strike.

It is a shame. No Golden Globe Awards either. Favorite shows are in limbo. Who knows what's going to happen if the strike continues for any further length of time.
