when will the republicans assault obama?

why arnt the republicans assaulting obama yet, strange hes the major front runner ahead of hillary, is it because they think he has no chance against mccain, if so why take a chance and let him build momentum, i was thinking about voting for obama, but in my research things just didnt add up and he began looking more suspect on his changes ,and the only changes are to shift american resourses from the mid east to africa,if this is so, is it a good thing or will it be another iraq, iran etc. all over again. would we be way over our limit

Update:

this isnt an assault on him id think about him as a viable candidate if he clarified what hes going to change it is so vague every thing leads me to believe he could just be in cahoots with the powers that be

The republicans will assault him when they feel the time is right. From what I have been hearing the Republicans want him as the Democratic nominee so they can use fresh assaults that no has has never used before. People tend to remember material when it is fresh rather than old.

If and when he wins the Dem nomination. That's just the way it goes. Right now, they are running against each other to get the Rep nomination. Once that's decided they will attack the Dem nominee. There's no wisdom in attacking any Dem candidate in particular right now, not knowing if that candidate will still be in the race later on. Waste of money.

Right now, until the nominations are figured out, the Dems will attack each other, but only mildly, because later on, they will have to bond together. And the same is true for the Reps. Once the two nominees are decided, then they will attack each other.

This doesn't answer your question but this worries me. In 2004 when Spain held there election for prime minister they had a guy who supported getting their troops out of Iraq and a guy who wanted to keep them in. A few days before election, the alquida bombed them and killed a large number of people (look it up if you want to know the details). they said they did it because Spain had their troops in Iraq. The people got scared and voted for the anti Iraq guy and he had those troops out of there in a few days. The alquida got there way. I hope that doesn't happen here.

I think they are wisely giving him enough rope to hang himself with (and/or letting him and Hilary take each other out) rather than going on the offensive and being accused of playing dirty or being racist.

I think as the campaign goes on, hopefully most people will be able to see past the hype and realize that there is no substance there, and that both he and Hilary are running on their personal agendas (and those of their supporters) as in being either the first black or the first woman, rather than on any clear or attatinable vision for the future of our country.

Give me anybody of either party over either one of them!!!!

Ron Paul's supporters might. They seem to be very violent.

There's no need he's doing that on his own.
