Well for all i know religion and race is and has always been a tool publicised by politicians to gain votes. umno and mca alike. both despicable...

Religion has always been used by political parties to gain mileage in their fight for seats as it has strong influence on the voters. However these days, Malay voter especially those from the cities are looking from a wider angle. Religion is not the only thing they see but they also see how the country is being run overall and how the actions taken by the government affect their lives. Anwar is correct, the BN ( not BSN ) is using their Islam Hadhari to impress the both the Malay and non-Malay voters.

I think so, but he also played the same game when in power.

Anwar will have to wait for the next election before he allow to contest for the Parliament seat due to legal regulation
