Hello! I need to talk to an atheist for a theology class project.?

I'm just interested in learning what your beliefs are and why. If there is anyone out there, please email me! Thanks!

More than happy to help- I'll put an email together for you.

Just to add, it will be along the same lines as what the person above me has said.

    EDIT: email sent

That would be quite a short email... I'm an atheist because I don't believe in gods, that's about it.

As to what I believe in... that depends on your definition of "believe"; In the religous sense of the word, nothing really that I can think of.

In the everyday sense, I believe in things I'm reasonably sure are true. Off the top of my head; direction of time (apart for virtual photons), causality (when applicable), and thermodynamics (apart from some quantum effects). That's about all for the fully believe category, the rest are more or less, "mostly believe" or "unsure".

I believe in a great many things , just no supernaturals . Anything that is nt of the natural world is just superstition to me . That includes gods , angels , Santa Claus , magic wands ,zombies , faith healers , fortune tellers , psysics , astrology , zodiac ,devils , souls , or anything else not of the natural world .

All living things here on earth have the same destiny . We live our our lives , die , and make room for those who come after us . Plants and animals , we're all just part of nature .

    I lack belief in gods.

After that, an atheist can believe in anything. We're all individuals.
