While we are on the topic of US politics?

Regardless of your political affiliations, I'm interested in knowing what political tickets (both parties now) you feel would best represent the country in the elections.

For the record, I'm a registered Independent who votes in every election.

I think the Democrats would have the strongest ticket if they nominate Obama for President with Clinton as his running mate.

I think the Republicans would have the strongest ticket if they nominate Huckabee for President with McCain as his running mate.

I'm not asking who you are "rooting" for, just interested in which combinations you think would best represent each party to the voters.

I think you have Huck-McCain backwards, as Huck shows a grave lack of knowledge in foreign policy. So I'd say McCain-Huckabee.

And, I'd have to go with either Obama-Edwards or Edwards-Obama.

Putting two symbolic minorities together on one ticket is way too much in my opinion. And Obama is by far the more likable of the two (not Hillary).

Just my opinion... for today anyway.
