I think your fine so long as you like them. I didn't get my first till I was 32 and now have several and plan on many more. I think being older we are more settled in what we want versus being young and getting one on a whim and then regretting it later. I make sure mine are hidden when I want them to be as I work in a professional environment and people tend to judge so i avoid those situations all together.
good luck!

If you like someone drawing on your body that's your business. Have you seen a tatoo on an older person. I'd advise anyone to see one before they get one. It's not a pretty sight.

It's kind of too late to worry about it you did the right thing!! I have 3 tattoo's and my husband has over 20 of them. We are both in our 30's and both plan to get more!!! If you like it, then it shouldn't matter what others think!! It's your body!!

why would you have not done the right thing? you should have thought about it before you got it. i am married, for the time being, and i have 2 small children and 6 tattoos. i get a new one every year. having art on your body has no effect on your parenting skills.

Tattoos are fine, if you like them. It's your body and you've a right to adorn it however you choose.
I have 3 and another one planned. Some people dislike them though, and that's fine too. If we were all the same, wouldn't the world be a boring place?

If you haven't had one until now, then I'd say that you've made more of a 'mid-life crisis' decision than anything else. The reason most people get them is because they want to look hip or cool. It goes along with the line of thinking that you are an individual, and then you make yourself look like everyone else. You're probably going to end up regretting it.

It's kinda too late to be thinking if u did the right thing, it's been done, and if u like it and he likes it then be happy with it

My wife had her first tattoo when she was 49,
that was a small red rose(of lancashire) on her ankle,at 50
she had another rose on her thigh and a small butterfly above her right boob which is visible when she wears a low cut blowse. ithink they are ok because they are small and the Tattooist was good.
