Vista has some nice features but these features slow it down. I would get the XP and wait until Vista gets it act together. This will be about another year.
Your performance will be better on XP than Vista.

Window Vista has much greater characteristic plus greater constructive hardware that help vista with window xp quite any purposes that can shop up with greater cutting-edge technologies. Plus explanation why they make a 2d Verizon of a product is on account that's greater constructive then the a million st verizon. So before you commence saying window xp is greater constructive then vista that's clearly no longer because of the fact with window xp barley has any purposes can it help blue the enamel? Can window xp be hook up with xbox 360 or ps3? vista can yet plus those people who're saying xp the two cant handle to pay for vista or has a older pc.... and additionally they made a greater cutting-edge verison of vista much less glichts.

Reading the Pro mags, I recommend sticking with XP. Vista came out followed 2 weeks later by a series of critical updates - say no more.

XP is more stable and faster than VISTA. VISTA, if it doesn't go the way of ME, really needs to mature. XP will soon have a service pack 3 available.

Yes, indeed! Had Vista - took it off and reinstalled XP. More stable and easier to find drivers for equipment. Vista is not ready for prime time.
