pc games vs. console games?

I'd say i'm lucky because although i've had a console all my life i've also had a PC all my life. I enjoy Console and PC gaming just as much as each other but here are my thoughts. PC gaming usually gets every game that consoles get unless it is exclusive to a console, PC's have better graphical capabilities as long as it can run, although if someone is trying to play a online game and it begins to lag it can be unfair if someone has a better machine than you and can play the game smoother and with the graphics on max, the keyboard and mouse suck as controllers but are great for some games, like Command and Conquer or World of Warcraft as you have everything you need one button away whereas consoles usually need to press more than one thing to get everything they need, also even though the keyboard and mouse sucks, it can easily be improved by simply buying a xbox wired controller and using that. PC's need the games to be installed to, so unless you have great memory say goodbye to some of your games to make way for a new one. Consoles are great too usually they only miss out on game from their rival consoles i.e. PS3 does not have Halo 4 but xbox does not have God of War and neither have Zelda or Mario games off Wii and other Nintendo consoles, whereas PC misses out on almost everything, they aren't getting Halo 4 they don't have God of War and you can't play Zelda or anything unless you use a emulator, although I guess WoW can't be played on console. I always find that im leaving my controller on charge constantly or it runs out quickly too. The online gaming seems to be more fair than PC though as the only factor is your connection to the game really as all consoles run as fast as each other and you can't improve them, which is also bad because you stuck using the same old machine until they make a new better machine, whereas PC you can remove components and improve them all the time. Both PC and Consoles have pro's and con's I just don't see why people hate so much, besides everyone knows gaming is the worst on IPad's/IPhones/IPod's! :P

All depends really.. you need a new console every 4-6 years.. you'll need to upgrade your computer every 6-12 months to run the latest games.. So if you got a job, go for PC or both.. Also depends on what you like to play.. FPS, RTS, MMORPG go for PC, although consoles have a wide variety of games, and genres. All up to you really.

Just a heads up though, the games that are coming out for PC will require a $1000 computer or more, while a 360's or PS3's are about 400-600, and the Wii is like 300.

I prefer PC , however there are some console games I would like to play , that are only for the console. Why I own both a PC and a console.

I believe that FPS and RTS games are far better on PC than on consoles (by which I mean easier to control, as opposed to graphically superior).

However, there are many games that are fantastic on console but which just do not work on PC. For example, sports titles, and (in my opinion) RPGs.

Of course, it's all down to what you think, in the end.

PC games offer more of a variety altogether,but console games give you a controller with a joystick which gives a nice feel.

well pc will always rule but consols graphic cards dont burn out and theres alot more to choose from then just rts's

with a 360,wii,ps3

console it cheaper and pretty good.pc if your rich and u get a really really good graphics card which cost alot.
