Whats the WORST restaurant you have ever been to and why?

This place called the Moria Inn. I was in my mid 20's.

I went for dinner. No one was eating there. I sat at the bar, and ordered Corned Beef and Cabbage. The guy looked at me funny, but said he'd check if they had it.

So he comes out with this plate of really overcooked, gray meat, and mushy vegetables. It was REALLY salty, but I never get sick from food, so I ate it, anyway. It was bad enough, but to add insult to injury, there was a 40-ish woman sitting 2 stools down from me. She had this kind of crop top that showed her midriff, and jeans about 2 sizes too small. And her stomach was HANGING OUT over the front of her jeans! I wanted to say, "Excuse me, do you MIND? I've got food, here..."

That night, I got so nauseous, I could barely get out of bed. I had to crawl slowly to the bathroom to call the moose on the big white phone. The food poisoning lasted for days.

That restaurant closed, and there's now a strip club in its place.

The worst I went to was an upscale Mexican restaurant that we had been to many times. We did not know that the place had changed owners. We should have known that something wasn't right when the menu went from authentic to tacos, burritos, and enchiladas. The food wasn't good and was hidden under lettuce.We ended up hugging the porcelain god a day later.

The second that tied was also a Mexican restaurant. This one had a great write up in the paper. I guess the margaritas were excellent and Mama's "special recipe" So we decided to give the place a try. I had turned 21 a month before. The waitress a 13 year old girl took our orders and left. Next to the kitchen I heard Mama "say get back out and check her id! she doesn't look old enough". The girl came back out and said Mama said you don't look old enough.( I wanted to say she didn't look old enough according to the local labor laws either) When I got my margarita it tasted like a mix. The food tasted like they opened a can of beans and a box of Ortega taco mix. (we didn't get sick) The place ended up closing six months later. So much for Mama's secret recipes.

My bday is the day after cinco de mayo and my whole family went up to Michigan for my cousins college graduation on my bday. When we got up there since it was cinco de mayo we figured we would get a little festive and everyone wanted to help me celebrate my bday. There's only one mexican restaurant and its named Margaritas. Well we went in and the first thing we ordered was a round of margaritas and a few beers. The lady looked at us like we were freaking stupid and said sorry we dont have a liqour license its just named after my mother. My cousin Ashley who was graduating just laughed cause she knew they didnt serve drinks and she is against alcohol. I was so pissed. Word of advice dont name your restaurant Margaritas if you dont serve margaritas. HAHA

Quiznos...ugh. Every time I went there I had to wait so long because there was only two people working and there was always someone new. And the food really wasn't that great, I got ill a couple of time because I think the food was out too long. I do not go their anymore. One of my children got sick as well.

Olive Garden,and sorry to all the ofended ones....but my father was a cheff in a 4 star restaurant with real Italian cousine so go figure....

One in England called, and I'm not kidding, I swear, "Wimpy Burger". The burgers were just that, tiny, disgusting. I don't even remember the fries, they must've been so bad.

A Golden Corral, because it gave me the runs for like a week.

this one place near my house. i ordered a breakfast buritto and they gave me a plain black taco shell with no trimmings or anything with it. I was ticked!!!!!
