Helping a friend so all necessary forms and fees and documents were sent about a week ago,when will she be getting a receipt letter saying they have received it! She's from Brazil has overstayed her tourist visa,has been here over 10 years,has 2 children born here and it's now married to an active military member,no crimes, hasn't left the country since coming here.Any ideas,pls be kind! New husband in the Military so we'll have to relocate in 2 years for sure.I have 3 children from previous marriage with joint custody/shared parenting.I'm going to try my best to convince my ex on allowing our children to come with me and do what it takes so he can have holidays,summer time with them always.But in case he won't let me take them what can I do as far as the court procedures? My parents are willing to move with us so the kids won't have to be w/o their grandparents and we do have plans on coming back to Oh for my husband's retirement so we can once again be by our families.What are my chances?

Sent the paper to legalize the marriage in Brazil tru the embassy in Florida.Now I'm going tru a dissolution here in the Us,and was wondering if I have to do the same at Brazilian Embassy to be divorce there or if simply finalizing things here would do it.I want to get married again and wanted to know how this works,thanks in advance!

I did everything online,and thought would only have to pay for so much,since then I have received a million letters and the amount it's just insane!!!I no longer have employees I do the work myself,so I do not wish to have this anymore.And I have also received a letter from some court attorney saying that I have to pay otherwise a certain amount otherwise something bad will happen!How do I get out of this since I don't need it anymore,and only make enough money to pay my principal bill.Things are though and the last thing I need is some collection problem for something I have even used,only paid for it.

I'm self employed don't have the greatest credit score,then again I only pay for one car loan and that's it.No credit card expenses.Have already applied for an FHA with one lender,and I'm waiting for an answer soon,should I go after other lenders or just wait?

I have purchased a Valor 9.2 dvd system from Costco,and will soon have it installed,it comes with two wireless headphones and would like to buy a 3rd one where can I get it?Already tried Costco,and the dvd system website but no luck.Does it have to be from the same brand,or have anything special done to it?Thanks for any feedback.

I want to but a dvd system for my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan @ Costco since it's the cheapest around,and the product will come with a instalation card that says any extra work depending on car,extra parts needed and such I will get charged for it.Has anyone ever used this plan?Or bought the same product and used the inst.Card?Or simply be able to tell me if my car fall into the "will surely need something extra" category?Thanks for any replies =)

I have an old fiberglass shower unit that has to go,and I have a super handy family willing to help if I buy everything right,so I want to take the unit out and replace it w/big ceramic tiles and such,so what will I need?What kind of backboards,cement,etc.All the pluming parts can be reused since there hasn't been any problems besides appearance.And also do I need a pan to use as a base,how does that work?Thanks in advance for any help!

I have a mini.poodle and took almost an year to potty train him outside where he shares the grass with all the neighborhood dogs,and that's the problem,he has had fleas,allergies and a million other things that he gets from the dirty grass.So I was planning on buying a litter box,would it work?Can I built one with my own grass in it and have it my balcony so he would still get to go sort of go outside where the small grass pan is just his?Any other clever ideas?

A person has cleaned a few apt as a part timer for extra money for an apt.complex company,they didn't turn out good at all,I mean not cleaned as they should've been,so the manager for the apt.place only paid the cleaner half of the total ammount talked about,since she had to send other cleaners to finish the job.Now the person(who did the not so clean job)wants to sue the apt.complex for not getting the money she tought she was going to get,and I know that the manager has made clear that the apt,were not good for her to go back and touch them up or she wouldnt get paid,she just walked out without even filling out a venders form to get her check.So I'm sort of stock in the middle since the check came in my name,so I paid her what the invoice said(I also work for the apt.place as a contractor)yet she thinks the manager is not right and wants to sue.The manager said,that's fine since she deals with this all the time so...will I have to be envolved,does she have the right to sue?

I have worked for a woman doing some cleaning as a side job,it has been 1month and a half and she hasn't payed me yet,she is avoiding me,not returned my calls, and lied to me that she hasn't received the check form the apt.complex we've cleaned when I know it happend.Is there anything I could do to get my money,I'm not talking about much,only $400.Yet it's money I worked hard to get.Is there any legal actions I should take?Pls help!!!

I would like to put together a wine basket for my brother for x-mas who loves all kinds of wine a good cheeses.I live in a small town in Ohio so no access to imported stores,and I like to make it personal by not ordering a ready to go gift basket.So what good(not brake the bank) wines should I put in it,I know he loves Cabernet Sauvignon,and port,but I have no idea when it comes to names and don't want to ask not to apoil the suprise.And what else besides the wine,I mean a mini wine rack or a single wine holder or a decanter?Cheese and cracker,or cheese and a nice cheese cutter set?What would make a perfect wine lover's basket after all.Thanks in advance.

I have installed a new shower door to my stand up shower but under the door where the metal is,water keeps coming out and its damaging my new vinyl and corners of the wall as well.I have taken everthing apart many times and even installed a piece of isolation rubber inside the base frame and on the outside I have used tons of silicone based sealant.Yet water gets stored inside this metal frame somehow and drips all day onto the vinyl and floor making a huge podle.I have a towel there at all times but would apreciatte any ideas on how to make this problem fixed.

Ps-the shower base is fiberglass and the door came with the metal frame.Both were purchased at loews and nothing seams to be damaged.

I have had many problems with my husband of 9years.I have tried counseling by myself since he is the macho type and won't even consider it.We have separeted for a while but do to finances and childerns well being got back together.He has promissed many time to change his ways(being more there for the kids attention wise,want to have better comunication with me,more positive about things,etc.)He changes for a bit then falls back into the kind of man who's not abusive but is not really there either,he just comes home from work eats,sits in bed all evening and falls asleep.I have tried many times to get back the normal husband I once had,I have tried talking,and everting else.I feel he loves me and but I;m guessing that isn't enough most of the time.How do I get him to change and not have to get a divorce.He only talk when he feels like it,I never tought of myself as being this calm with this whole situation but I guess I'm holding up for the kids.What should I do?
