ivory-VS-white or other colors?

I am not sure what shades look really good and with skintones and things, but i have a lot of polish blood. And if you dont know what that means, I am very white. I do not tan, i burn, and go back to white. Not even a joke. Spray tans dont work for me either, i turn orange or breakout. What color is best for very fair skin tone. I dont want red or anything like that. I want a shade of white., thank you

I have similar skin, I am so white I am virtually blue and transparent! Ivory looks great on very pale skin as it is softer than the starkness of white. Champagne can look really rich and creamy against pale skin and also the lightest, palest pink imaginable, called shell pink, that looks very feminine with pale skin. I have a Colour Analyst where I work, she is a world renowned name in her field and has taught many of the famous names out there how to dress, so I asked her about this as well when I got married and she showed me what works best with really pale skin.

There are dresses that look white, but not the stark white that bridal gowns are today. Some dresses look like they've been dropped into a tub of bleach a bit too long. Anyway, the soft whites, ivories, etc. would probably work best. Champagne would be lovely if you want to go that dark. I personally love the color, but its up to you.

My best friend has the exact same skin tone as you and she wore a beautiful pale platinum wedding dress for her wedding. It looked great on her, and since it had the subtle color it did not wash her out. If I were you, I would go with a dress that had a little color to it and just go to the Bridal shops and try them on, you will get a better idea of what you like and what looks good with your skin tone :)

An ivory or champagne color would look better. Staying away from pure whites is a good idea for fairer skin, anything with a yellow, gold, or pink undertone to the traditional white will look better than a washout.

I like the idea of ivory with your coloring, try on different shades at a bridal shop, and bring along someone for their opinion who will be honest.

Diamond white is meant to be good for any skin tone.

Genereally they say fair skinned people should stay away from stark white, but look at nicole kidman, she wears alot of white and always looks gorgeous.

I'm in the same boat. I went with a light pink dress with white lace, and it looked great.

Your best bet is to physically try dresses on, or use color swatches if you are having your dress custom made.

go to several bridal shops and try on dresses. I found and absolutely georgous one that was traditional but pale pink, and you could order in other colors. Start early, you may even have one made. I think aqua's are pretty, I chose pink

honestly I would go into a bridal store and ask them. They have been doing it for a while. Also bring a polaroid camera so that you can see how you will look in pictures to make sure that you dont look too washed out.

I chose a color called Shell. It was pretty ivory - but with an almost pink shimmer... it was very pretty.
