Are there any happy marriages any more?
I am a romantic at heart and have had really bad experiences with relationships, I have had 3 failed marriages (all cheaters) and would just like to know if there is anyone happy out there with their marriage, give me some hope! Also how long have you been married for and what keeps you together and in love?
10 AnswersMarriage & Divorce8 years agoCan they add white ink to coloured ink (before it is tattooed on) to make a paler shade?
Sorry if this is a bit of a daft question! Can they mix white ink into blue ink (for example), to make it a really pale blue or would adding white affect the longevity of the colour (as I have heard white ink can turn yellow-ish?)
9 AnswersTattoos1 decade agoWhat's the best book you have read in 2008 so far?
I've just started reading the Cross Stitch (Outlander in the US) series by Diana Gabaldon again, I read them when I was about 15 but appreciate the story and characters so much more now. I'm totally hooked again!
23 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoHave any of you got a Zen Stone MP3 Player?
How are you getting on with it, is it worth buying one? I only want something small, and I do not want an ipod.
2 AnswersOther - Electronics1 decade agoHow does yellow ink look and last on pale skin?
I'm looking at sunflower images for a tattoo I am planning later in the year, having only black tattoos on me at the moment I am unsure of how the colour would look and last on my skin, I am really fair. Any advice? I am not interested in the opinions of people who disapprove of tattoos, thank you!

6 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoHas anyone here tried sleeping tablets?
I had a accident in October last year and received burns to my arm, since then I have been waking at night with terrible nightmares about people bursting in to flames and fires etc, I'm exhausted, I was wondering if sleeping tablets may be a temporary help to get me over this exhaustion, I am sleeping about 3 hours maximum a night and I work full time so I need to get a few more hours than that!
15 AnswersOther - Health & Beauty1 decade agoIn the UK, until what time can you play loud music/do DIY at night?
Our neighbours play loud music until the early hours of the morning (70's and 80's disco....TORTURE!), they also shout drunkenly, fight, and stomp all over the flat, last night they were shouting til 3am and the music was still playing. We've tried knocking on the door, they never answer. We've tried calling the police, they do nothing. Anyone been in a similar situation?
19 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoAre there any pescatarians here?
I am seriously considering stopping eating meat because I just don't even enjoy it anymore, and I don't see any point in eating something I don't like just for the sake of it! Why did you stop eating meat, and how hard did you find it with pressure from family? My husband is a chef and I know he will find it strange, any tips or advice?

38 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoHow can I escape the "ready meal" trap?
My husband is a chef and works late nights, I can rarely think of things to cook for myself and have fallen in to the trap of living on ready meals, I cannot remember the last time I cooked a proper meal for myself, cooking for one is much harder than it sounds!
9 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoChristmas with his family or with mine?
For the last 4 years we have spent Christmas with his family, this year I'd like to spend it with mine, or else go away together somewhere. He thinks his family will be upset/offended if we do not spend Christmas with them (they don't make a big deal out of it, just dinner and gifts and carols as background music) and he won't consider doing something different, am I wrong to ask again that we spend it with my family?
How do other couples work this out so everyone is happy?
28 AnswersChristmas1 decade agoCan you paint over laminated wood?
We've inherited some ugly laminate wardrobes, my mum said I could paint them but that I'd need a primer or some sort of base coat that will allow paint to dry on the laminate, does anyone know what I need to get?
7 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoWhat items would you want on a "sharing platter"?
I'm making a sharing platter for me and my hubby tonight, we have no dietary restrictions so all suggestions are welcome! So far I have got mini ribs in sweet chili sauce and potato wedges, and now I am all out of ideas! I don't have a deep fat fryer, so I am looking for things that can be oven cooked or shallow fried, or grilled.
12 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWhat top would you wear with grey city shorts?
They are knee length grey pinstripe shorts, very smart for work, I work as a receptionist in an office, as it's winter I would be wearing knee length black boots, I just can't decide what I should wear on top!
12 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoHas anyone here had Reiki treatment?
Please could you tell me what it was like and if it was worth trying?
2 AnswersAlternative Medicine1 decade agoPhobia sufferers...have you had any successful treatment to over come your fear?
Like so many people I am terrified of spiders and insects, my hubby caught a daddy-long-legs last night and brought it near me to put out the window and I felt like I could not breath and my heart was racing so hard it was painful, it's totally irrational I know! If anyone has had any treatments that have helped them get over their fear I'd like to hear about it please!
8 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade agoDid you see your husband/wife before you were married on your wedding day?
Supposedly it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride on the wedding day before they are officially married, how many of you followed that tradition or did anyone take the risk lol....
31 AnswersEngagements & Weddings1 decade agoWhere did you stay on your wedding night?
We're going back to our flat as our wedding is being held at my sister in law's home, just wondered where everyone else stayed!
Thank you
