What top would you wear with grey city shorts?

They are knee length grey pinstripe shorts, very smart for work, I work as a receptionist in an office, as it's winter I would be wearing knee length black boots, I just can't decide what I should wear on top!

    I would wear a black bib detail shirt or top with a nice wide patent belt cinched in at the waist and some nice patent t bar heels or mary jane heels.
