When did your pregnancy feel real?
I am about 5 weeks pregnant and don't really feel pregnant yet. My boobs are a little sore off and on and I have mild cramping here and there but other then that I don't have any symptoms. I find myself worrying that something is wrong or that the pregnancy test was wrong. Is this a normal feeling. My first ob appointment is two weeks from now.
Thanks happy74. I'm glad I'm not alone. Good luck with your pregnancy! You can email me if you'd like.

At 10 weeks when I had my first ultra sound! I was like you and didn't feel pregnant( i was all set for them to tell me that there was a mistake, I was not pregnant) but when I saw her in there kicking and moving and her heart beating, it was very real. It has been even more real now , at 33 weeks, when I can look down and see my tummy wiggling and jumping !
Good luck!

When I went to open the fridge and my stomach was in the way... about 30 weeks. This is my third pregnancy and I am 21 weeks and I still don't feel pregnant. I am still wearing normal clothing, the baby is lazy and isn't much of a kicker compared to my last two kids. I have had 3 sonograms and I can see the baby on the tv but it still doesn't feel real to me.
Go out and buy some baby items.... you can never have enough. Plus it might help you realize you are pregnant and that it does feel real. Plus its so much fun looking at everything they have. email me if you want.... sarah_johnson45013@yahoo.com Read some pregnancy books. The best book I read was belly laughs. And I'm not big on reading books but it was funny and very true.

Hi there. First off congratulations!!! I am currenty 5 weeks (and a couple days) as well. It's so exciting! I found out at 4 weeks and I know exactly what you mean. I am just starting to get morning sickness but I haven't puked. I even took a pregnancy test the other night just to make sure it was still true! lol Just relax and enjoy. (Easier said than done I know!) Keep in touch if you want, it would be fun to keep contact with women due the same time as me! Good luck!

Truthfully it still doesn't feel real and I'm almost 34 weeks. Everytime something happens like seeing an ultrasound or fetal movement it becomes a little more real but I don't think it'll hit me until I hold her in my arms. As for the lack of symptoms don't worry about that. Either you'll be lucky, like I was, and experience very little problem, or it'll hit you soon and you'll long for the days of no morning sickness and no soreness. I didn't really start feeling anything until about 6 weeks and mine was very mild. Went away around week 10. Congrats on the pregnancy and soon enough you'll have more and more reassurance.

This is a totally normal feeling that you're having and I understand completely!
In my 1st pregnancy I didn't "feel" pregnant until I heard the babies heart beat, had my 1st sonogram (at 20 weeks) and when I felt the baby move for the 1st time, which was all in the same week. Some people feel movement sooner than others, everyone is different! My 2nd pregnancy (I'm 33 weeks now) I felt the baby moving at 14 weeks, so even your own pregnancies will be different!
Congratulations on your pregnancy and cheers to a healthy baby! :)

My pregnancy felt real the first time I saw the baby. But everytime something happens it feels more and more real like and when I heard it's heartbeat for the first time, and just 1 hour ago I felt it officially move for the first time. It was so exciting (I thought I felt it move last night but wasn't really sure until I felt it today). It is absolutely amazing. My husband and I find out what the baby is on Wednesday and I am sure that will make it feel ultimately real! Congrats!

Congratulations on your new baby!!! I'm sure everything is fine and you are just having a really good pregnancy. You're much luckier than I was, I had morning sickness for almost 8 months. So try to relax and if you start to get concerned you can always call you doctor and ask to come in sooner.

With my first pregnancy it didn't feel real until I started showing. I'm 5 weeks along now too, and still in shock....incredibly happy though. I don't get to go to the dr for another 5 weeks though!!
