how much sleep does a 14 month old girl really need?
She sleeps an average of 10 hours a night, takes an hour long am nap, and a 2 - 3 hr afternoon nap. Is this enough or too much?

Sounds absolutely perfect. Believe me I have five kids one of which is 16 month and he sleeps about 10 hr at night and has a 2 to 2 1/2 hr nap. The same is true for my 3 yr old.

I think that is okay for 14 months. Although, usually around 12 months to 18-months, children tend to move towards one afternoon nap. Try keeping her awake for the morning, then giving her a nap right after lunch. That is the routine most toddlers follow.

It sounds about right. If she's active and not overly cranky when she's awake, she's getting enough sleep.

Sounds right to me! If it were too much she wouldn't be sleeping!
