The movie companies are like every other company - they have websites, they have a payroll system, general ledger, engineering, manufacturing - so they have all of the standard IT departments - application development, support, operations, maintenance, help desk, network -
I started my career working on MSA (now D&B) general ledger systems for that reason - every company's got one, so your knowledge can move from industry to industry relatively easily.
