How can I create a "Twilight Zone" themed meal?

I am a 6th grade teacher who uses the Twilight Zone as a weekly writing prompt preparation for state testing. It was suggested recently by a student that after the state test (in May) we have a Twilight Zone meal--and his example was to have "To Serve Ham," named for the classic episode and inspired by the meal prepared in it!

Any other suggestions for a meal with a Twilight Zone theme?

Well there were various themes from time and space travel to creatures, death, humanity, devil/evil, dimensions, enchanted objects, mind, magic, and machines. With this in mind the possibilities are endless.

A dirt cake with worms: A cake with crumbled chocolate cookies for the dirt and gummy worms coming out of the dirt/cake.

Processed foods: This type of food has been altered from it's natural state for safety reasons and for convenience. The methods used for processing foods include canning, freezing, refrigeration, dehydration and aseptic processing.

Dehydrated foods: Jerky, veggies, and fruit.

Processed meat: Spam burgers or sandwiches.

Green Jell-O: Alien food? This one must have things floating in it. Celery or fruit will work.

Ants on a Log: celery sticks, peanut butter, and raisins. Wash the celery and cut it into pieces about 5 inches long. Spread peanut butter over the entire length of the celery. Press the raisins into peanut butter.
