I am a 6th grade teacher who uses the Twilight Zone as a weekly writing prompt preparation for state testing. It was suggested recently by a student that after the state test (in May) we have a Twilight Zone meal--and his example was to have "To Serve Ham," named for the classic episode and inspired by the meal prepared in it!

Any other suggestions for a meal with a Twilight Zone theme?

Specificially, I'm wondering about my season pass for "Survivor: Fiji" which, of course, will be called something else next season as they won't be in Fiji!

Will TiVo automatically change it? Or (heavens to Betsy) do I make the change myself when the new show's information shows up in the TiVo schedule?

I'm about to start my third year teaching 6th grade, and I was wondering what successful tips are out there for the first days of school. Now, naturally, I've read "The First Days of School" by Wong and Wong (and use quite a bit of their suggestions) but what do YOU do that achieves and exciting, proper start to the year?

I was wondering if anyone knows of any other sites online other than librivox.org that have free audio books or similar recordings!

Last Friday, I got married. On the way to the reception, we were HORRIFIED to find that the red leather in the limo stained the back of my shirt a blood red! Thankfully none of it got on my wife's wedding dress, and I was able to wear my suit jacket for the rest of the evening. The limo company denies that it ever happened (despite us having a picture of my back).

My question is this: where can I report the limo company? I've heard of the Better Business Bureau, but don't know if it is worth the time/energy.

I go through fits of insomnia: at times, over-the-counter sleep medication can help, but often enough it doesn't. I'll ache with tiredness, but still be unable to fall asleep. How do you battle insomnia?

I was wondering if anyone has a great, easy, and tasty cube steak recipe? Here's mine!

1lb (or so) cube steak

2 peppers (any color)

2 medium onions

chopped garlic

olive oil (vegetable oil is ok too)

egg noodles

Put 1/3 of the egg noodles in water and start to boil. In a pan, put a moderate amount of olive oil (enough to cook the meat and veggies) in and start heat. Once hot, put the meat on, with a liberal amount of garlic on top. While that is cooking, chop your peppers and onions. Flip the meat, then add veggies. Cook to preferred state, don't overdo the noodles, and enjoy!
