If a show name changes, with TiVo automatically update it?
Specificially, I'm wondering about my season pass for "Survivor: Fiji" which, of course, will be called something else next season as they won't be in Fiji!
Will TiVo automatically change it? Or (heavens to Betsy) do I make the change myself when the new show's information shows up in the TiVo schedule?

Unfortunately, no. My wife liked Amazing Race and we missed the first couple episodes because TiVo didn't automatically pick up the name change.
My way of dealing with this is to create a Wishlist entry such as "SURVIVOR" or "AMAZING RACE". That way I don't miss the first episode of a new season.

I think you might be the one who has to change it because like you said it goin to be called something else let say its Survivor:Africa even though its Survivor it still different Season
