Can any SD card be used in the Nintendo Wii?

Can any SD memory card be used in the Nintendo Wii or does it have to be a special Nintendo Wii card? Thanks Sue.

    yes any standard SD card but not the SDHC cards....

    Any SD card can work to store memory on, but if you want to use the Photo Channel, the Wii SD cards are best. Some SD cards work on the Photo Channel and some don't.

    No.The Wii can only use SD cards up to 2 GB and SDHC cards up to 32 GB.UHS and SDXC cannot be used.
