Exactly the same as things are today. Ron Paul does not understand the word compromise. He's Dr. No. Since he is a Libertarian, he would be unable to work with Congress, either a Republican or Democratic one.

Iraq will blow up in outright civil war because he'd immediately withdraw troops with no diplomatic plan in place. He doesn't need Congress to do that.

But that's going to happen in Iraq no matter when we leave if we don't attempt some diplomatic approaches.

The government would shut down every year because he'd refuse to sign any budget Congress passed. He'd also veto any budget that still provided for any form of consumer supports. He'd blame it all on a "Democratic Congress".

If the American people believed him and re-elected a Republican Congress, they wouldn't eliminate TANF, Social Security or Food Stamps either, but he wouldn't veto their budgets as long as they continued to cut capital gains taxes or fully eliminate capital gains taxes.

He and a Republican Congress would continue to spend as much money as possible on Red State pork. The deficit would be bigger every year and the overall debt would grow to astronomical proportions. He'd blame it all on the existence of Social Security and Medicare.

But he would never call for a freeze on the constant increases to Social Security maximum contributions.

No Republican Congress would phase in his flat tax, but he'd claim that a "compromise" was reached when they eliminated the highest marginal brackets.

Israel would probably be obliterated. The Lefties would love that. I like some of his economic policies (small government, no foreign aid, etc), but overall he is just a radical weirdo....

I don't know. I like some of his ideas. But I'm not sure what the economy would do with such drastic change.

The conspiracy theorists who voted for him would now be creating conspiracies about him and calling him a fascist.

  • He would be delivering those 20million babies that are aborted every year and America's population would be 380 Million
