Well that really depends on you feel he or she did on serving you. I say yes they should.

If the service is OK, then they should receive a standard tip. If service was above and beyond your expectations you should give a higher tip. If they did something horrible to you while serving you, they shouldn't get a tip. But in that case, I would also speak to a manager about them.

It depends on how much their hourly rate is!! If they get paid under minimum wage (Which I think is a RIP OFF!!) they should get a big tip!! Regardless!!
I think it should be against the law to pay any worker regardless of - if they are a hostess, waitress, b.boy, etc. anything below minimum wage!!!!!

No. If you receive terrible service they shouldn't receive a tip. Sometimes people will leave a very very small tip to let the server know that they didn't simply forget to tip them.

Not if they are rude or not good at their job. But if they are polite and friendly then yes tip them. They get paid awful wages so the tips help alot.

~No way, if you get good service then of course but if the experience is not a good one then I would not tip.
I know its not expected so much in the UK but I always like to tip if I am happy with the food and service.

Over here in Australia giving a tip is really rare... you only do it if the service is amazing... it's not expected coz the wages are pretty good over here =]
