What is the differance from "HD" and "HD Grade"?

I just bought a LCD monitor and it says it's "HD Grade" and the term HD Grade is trade marked.. I would like to know that the differance is between High Deffinition and HD Grade?

What makes a monitor High Deffinition?

From what I can gather, HD-Grade is merely a marketing term meaning the monitor is HD-capable.

A monitor is made HD simply by having a resolution of 1280x720 or higher. Technically, the only two HD video resolutions are 1280x720 (720p/720i) and 1920x1080 (1080p/1080i), but some manufacturers will still use odd, non-16:9 screen resolutions, such as 1280x768 (which is actually a 15:9 aspect ratio). Why, I don't know, possibly something to do with it being easier to manufacture LCDs with those numbers of pixels (as opposed to plasmas, which will almost always be in a proper 16:9 resolution).
