You can no longer e-File 2006 Tax Returns. The only way to file your 2006 return at this point is to mail it to the IRS.

Too late for e-filing, but do file your 2006 ASAP because if it isn't file by the time you file your 2007 and you have a refund due IRS will hold (REFUND HOLD) your refund until 2006 is filed and fully process. IRS must verify you don't owe for 2006 before releasing your refund for 2007. It can take 6-12 weeks to process your 2006 return.

You can't e-file a 2006 return anywhere. You MUST file a paper return by mail. E-filing for 2006 closed back in October.

You can't efile your 2006 tax return anymore. You can get the forms that you need from www.irs.gov.
