I'm 14 weeks, 2 days, and started hearing it at 9 weeks 5 days. It was 165 bpm in the beginning, but now it's about 145-150 bpm.

Yes, baby has a strong heart beat from about 6-7 weeks. By 12 weeks it can be detected by the midwife but this depends on the position of the baby, your weight and the position of the placenta.
At 15 weeks, the same applies. Our midwives dont even bother to try and find a heart beat until we're past 20 weeks because all of the above can mean you dont hear anything and people panic. They made an exception with me this morning cos they had student midwives in. Got a great heart beat 146 bpm, it was great.

At 8 weeks it was 167 and at 12 weeks it was 155. I go for my 16 week appointment Wednesday so hopefully it will be good and strong as well.

I think they tell you earlier than 15 weeks. I think they checked mine around 10 weeks. I'm not for sure though. Good luck.
