Why did LT want to sit out the second half yesterday?

He says he could have gone back in. Doesn't sound like he wanted to play.

He had a bruised knee, but I'm sure he'll be ready for the Patriots. Nobody on the Chargers wants a title for than LT.

It was probably decided that he shouldn't risk further injury in the game. The Chargers have two capable backups in Michael Turner and Darren Sproles. They were capable of finishing the game, and in the event that the team won, there is the possibility that LT will be available next week.

He didn't "Want to sit out the 2nd half yeaterday." He was hurt. He may be able to play this week because it wasn't a very serious injury, but he was smart enough to know that it would have limited his ability on Sunday and that they were better off with the healthy backups in the game than him if he was limited by injury.

he bruised his knee and he could've gone back out but he said it started to stiffen up on him so he didn't want to take a risk. and i doubt his career would end from just a bruise. epsom salt can cure that in like 5 min, lol.
