How much do you/did you pay for college?

not in college yet but its gonna be a fortune:(

Tuition- I spent about 2,000 a year at a state university. Summer school was another 600

Books- About 500 per semester, summer school another 400

Housing- About 4,000 per year

And there's food and booze and that gets pricey. Don't drink too much.

This was about 10 years ago and am a resident of Florida.

I'm in college. $140.00 a semester full time from 4+ classes (sometimes up to 10 depending what and where they fit in) that's total NOT $140/class like some people sometimes think when I tell them that.

And of course books which, for me, run at about $200 a semester for 6 classes total.

So a grand total of $340.00/semester or $680/year.

Grants paid most of mine. Student loan paid the rest.

I let the tax payers pay for me at the Air Force Academy. I was told it is about $ 250,000.00 if I had to pay for it.
