Why people want more sexual freedom than before?

Generations change, i think alot of it may be because the generation above us pushed it onto us so much alot of people rebelled. but the way that society is changing, theres alot more support for un-wed mothers, it's easier that 20 years ago, theres more help, more money, and after the whole "i am woman" era, women believe they don't need a man at all, i'm not saying you do, and im not saying wait till you get married for sex, (after all you don't want to find out your husband is a dud after you marry him, and it's great fun) but maybe everyone should be wearing a bit more protection? mmm?

Many centuries ago the Chinese, the people of India, Greeks, etc. wrote books (with paintings) carvings etc. to enlighten their people about sex and then along came Christians & their belief system. Sexual desires were repressed & in some cases, peoples were killed because of their desires. The church system has repressed so many things & not just for GLB&T. Check it out folks that is all true & more.

Natural urgings are making a come back.

We're breaking away from religious monotony and power, and with that we get to decide our own taboos. The concern over safety is higher, as it should be but it is no longer thought to be damning for mutually consenting people to enjoy each other.

nah. I remember how my mother always bar me from playing computer during my schooling days. taking away keyboards, mouse, locked the door, took away my gaming CDs and stuff like that. however, the more she tried to deny me of the gaming freedom, the more I will want the freedom. Same analogy for your question.

Maybe because people are realising that there's actually nothing wrong with it if it's done properly - ie: protection, regular checkups and such.

That and probably the slackening of religions' hold on modern society.

Many centuries of sexual repression... It's the natural way of re-balancing... soon the opposite movement will come into action again.

you are talking about...human beings...with natural urges...some people do not believe in...suppressing anything...you only live once...so why not?

we have lost our...'innocence'...sexually...over the years...decades...people are STILL...uninhibited...still...want to be uninhibited...this is the rason...barebacking...has made a comeback...we want the days of...free love...we don't want to...have to think so much...BUT

there are the proper precautions...if you are so inclined...i fault no one...for their choices...good...or bad...i just hope that...whatever comes of those decisions...helps to guide the person...through...the rest of their lives...
