If you got to the doctor and he does a test for you it will show up on your moms insurance, so she'll know anyway.

Find a way to get to Planned Parenthood, and they'll do a test for free.

There is a law banning doctors to share patient information with anyone that the patient doesn't want to know. However, if you are on your mother's insurance, the pregnancy test will show up on the bill. Better go to the health clinic if you don't want your mom to know. But she will have to find out eventually if you are....

There is a thing called doctor patient confidentiality that will protect you.

However what are you going to tell your mom in 8 months, I doubt she will buy the "watermelon seed" story.

More then likely your doctor will strongly advise you to tell your mom, but he can't and he won't.

A doctor can only legally tell on you if you are in danger of hurting yourself or someone else, so your fine. I do however reccomend going to a different dr. Do you really want to tell the dr who knew you as a toddler this. Go to planned parenthood, its free, its easy and they are nice

I'm sure they will since you are probably under eighteen but your mom will find out either way. She was pregnant with you and will know if you are or aren't. I also think it would be that if you are, that you just tell her ASAP that way she has more time to get used to t he idea or more time to give you time to think about what you're going to do depending on if she is willing to help or not. How old are you?

A planned parenthood clinic is your best bet for privacy. You can even go anonymously. If you go to a family doc, ask for privacy first

In WA I know if you are 13 and under they can tell your parents. Once you are 14 they cannot legally tell anyone.

even if you are a minor, you still have "doctor patient confidentiality" BEFORE you say anything ask "even though i am a minor do we still have the dpc? and if she says no, than just say "ok" then dont say a word after, if she says yes then say "ok, then if you break your word i have all the rights in the world to take you to court for malpractice." then procede to tell her
